UPDATE

It's been 3 weeks since my surgery. I'm feeling a lot better than when I first left the hospital. I'm still adjusting to the changes my body is going through. I can't wait until the day when I can yawn and sneeze without it being cut short and hurting. I have nerve damage from the surgery which bothers me at times and I'm told it will last a year. Every week that passes I feel a little better. This week I went to class. I couldn't last the whole 5 1/2 hours but I stayed about 3 hours and came in 30 minutes early to talk to my teacher. I'm not sure when I'll be back to work. I am not working this whole month. I just received my disability money, it took way too long. I don't feel strong enough to go back to work but I hope sometime in March I can get back. I won't able to lift over 10 pounds until my doctor tells me otherwise. I'm still not driving my car. I have a follow up appointment with Dr. Cooper on the 18th, hopefully he'll tell me I can drive now.
