Hello everybody!
I apologize for the delay in keeping everyone updated. It looks like I am in the clear... NO CANCER!! The cervical issue remains "abnormal cells", however the dysplasia that my doctor thought were present actually were not! It was a huge relieve! About two weeks ago I was experiencing a lot of abdominal pain, which led me in to the Emergency Room. It is not 100% what went wrong, but it did involve my right ovary. My doctor that I have had since I was 17 years old is satisfied assuming that it was a ruptured cyst, but I am not so convinced. It is amazing how negative I have become when dealing with "new" pain after having lung cancer. I am seeking a second opinion. If there is SOMETHING there I want to know exactly what it is.
On a more positive note... Every now and then I receive messages from followers of mine from both Facebook and my blog. I am truly touched by the support, openess, and compassion of those messages.
Here is a message that has went unnoticed for too long, but has really made my night!:

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you that I read some of your blog and it's inspired me to finally try to quit smoking!
I have been a smoker for the past 11 years and just this past February my mother passed away from Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She was diagnosed the day before Thanksgiving and lived for 3 months. It was painful to watch what was happening to her and I swore right then I was going to get. I didn't though.
I said over and over since then I was going to quit smoking but for some reason I haven't yet. I want to so bad though and reading your blog has inspired me to get up in the morning and not smoke!
Also I love to see people who are showing support and awareness for Lung Cancer such as yourself. Much appreciation for kind people like you.
God Bless you and THANKS SO MUCH!!
Sabrina
